I Am A Promise

I remember singing this song when I was a kid.  Bill Gather Trio was played often in our home.  I grew up with a loving family.  Both Mom and Dad were in the home and the loving memories are bountiful!! 
 

You grow up and life tends to do what it does and gets you so busy that you forget the basics!  The BASICS that I am ABLE, I CAN, I WILL and so on and so on!  You are never too old, too busy, too worn or used to recite these words!

 

I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice
I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.

Princess Power

I remember the princess stories when I was a little girl and they were always SO GIRLY and PETITE!  They were soft spoken and proper!  I remember looking at them thinking I could try to be like them but what was the use.  My inner Princess was a warrior!  She had a LOUD VOICE!  She was able to show her good side and carry herself properly yet she was able to show off her muscles and assert herself when needed! 

 

Today’s PRINCESS is POWERFUL!  Today’s PRINCESS is willing to roll up her sleeves and get dirty!  Today’s PRINCESS can fight harder for what is hers, she’s tougher, she’s stunning no matter what she’s clothed in and she doesn’t care what others think of her!  She’s the single mom who is making it work!  She works during the day and goes to school at night as her babies sleep warm in their beds.  She’s the cancer patient who just won’t stop fighting!  She’s the widow who misses her husband and still loves REGARDLESS of her pain!  She’s the mom who stays up during the night to pray for her household!  She’s the women climbing the corporate latter with honor and respect.  She’s the woman who knows who she is at ALL TIMES!  She gets down and gets back up!  She cries and pulls out her compact and brings herself back to CONTROL.  She’s hurts and turns it around!  She hopes in the face of adversity!  She believes when no one else does!  She doubts her doubts and feeds her self-worth!  She looks fear in the eye and laughs.  She understands that there are seasons for everything and takes them all as lessons and opportunities to grow and strengthen!   She is a PRINCESS WITH POWER! 

Time to put on your game faces PRINCESSES and get to work!

Goals!!

Coming into the last quarter of the year I tend to look back at my year to see what I have accomplished.  And as I look back I find lots that I have yet to complete and lots of things that I have given up on!  I usually spend some time targeting the reasons why I didn’t follow through on certain goals.  And 9 times out of 10 the ONLY reasons I didn’t follow through were either because I didn’t have them written down and posted up OR I allowed FEAR to stop me!!

 It’s SO easy to forget what’s not in front of your face!  And then sometimes when it’s in your face it can tend to appear too SCARY!  Well, my friend ENOUGH with the EXCUSES!  It’s time to start POSTING your goals!  Make them specific, doable yet challenging and by gosh make them CLEAR! 

This quarter my husband and I became laser focused and wrote out our goals and posted them EVERYWHERE, the bathroom mirror, car dashboard, refrigerator, etc!  Those goals that scare us we HIGHLIGHTED them and are holding each other accountable.  You might say, “Well, that’s easy for you but I’m not married and don’t have someone to hold me accountable”!  Well, to that I say, run FACE FIRST into those goals that scare you and BEAT them into the ground!  And at the end you can stomp and dance over them with triumph!!! 
 
I just recently joined a network marketing company that I have been interested in for years and FINALLY jumped in head 1^st!  The fears I have to overcome are numerous!  And my first 4 months I allowed my fears to overtake me!  I felt like I had FAILED!  I had an opportunity to come out of the gate kicking and punching and yet I came out with my head down, doubting myself.  I chose to START OVER but this time I went to WAR and TOOK FEAR DOWN and made it work for me!!  I have squashed many of those fears head on and now looking back in retrospect, I can see that those fears were meant to stop me from uncovering my GREATNESS!  Facing them head on also showed me that those scary areas, once conquered, weren’t worth fearing WHAT-SO-EVER!!!  SOOOO face those fears head on and watch them cower in the presence of your GREATNESS!!!

Announcement & Weekend Extravaganza

I know that I haven't blogged for awhile....things have been crazy!  Crazy in a good way, hahaha

I hope all of you are enjoying the cooler weather over here in Southern California.....I am really not a summer person at all.  I feel like when it's hotter then 95 degrees the heat and sun zap all my energy and then I start to feel sick.  My mom says I probably get sun poisoning.  Anyhow, I am thankful for the cooler weather, socks, jackets, scarfs, boots, hot coffee and cocoa!!! I love that crisp cool air during morning & evening walks, shoot, all through the day!!! hahaha

Hephzi has been busy creating, researching, planning, and tons of other stuff!!!  We just finished our Fall Photoshoot with pictures and video to follow.  So be sure to stay tuned. 

I will NEVER EVER get tired of telling you that We love creating for you (just wanted to share that because it was on my heart to).  Your why we do what we do!  You are loved and delighted in :0)
