Here it is

Meet the Artist Giveaway: "Love Birds" Bracelet by Hephzi Creations

Allow me to introduce you to the lovely Angela Smith...

...owner and creative talent behind Hephzi Creations, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the Patchwork Indie Festival in May. Here's a little Q & A so you can get to know Angela better!

Collette: Tell us a little about your background and how Hephzi Creations was born.

Angela: My passion and experience has caused me to birth my own business called, “Hephzi (pronounced hĕf'zĭ) Creations.” Before starting Hephzi I fell in love with the business world of finance and accounting and became a successful Tax Account Manager with ADP a Fortune 500 company here in the U.S, as well as becoming the CFO of “A Company of Women.” This powerful nonprofit organization passionately supports and celebrates women.

Since the birth of my business women all around the world have been fallen in love with Hephzi Creations. I am excited about Hephzi’s future and the women, whose lives will be powerfully and sweetly impacted by my jewelry and accessories.

Collette: What inspires you?

Angela: What inspires me? Women -- women of every age, every creed, every background!

I truly love vintage because of the rarity and the quality that you can find in made-in-the-USA products, thus representing how I see women. I started with raw materials and re-purposed vintage jewelry. I make pieces by hand. Each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind. I am passionate about creating each and every delicate decoration as a priceless jewel to be worn with pride and honor.

Collette: I love that you can wear one of your bracelets in several different ways to customize your look! I see that you also make more than just jewelry....

Angela: Every bracelet I make comes with an extension that is elastic that can turn the bracelet into a necklace or headband. They also can be worn around the brim of summer hats which looks amazing!

I also make sets, purses, and other fun items like this Vintage Bowling Ball Bag Purse. So whatever a woman's preference of style -- vintage, classic, sophisticated, retro, glitzy glam, minimalist, earthy, whimsical, kitschy, cutesy -- Hephzi has your one of kind creation!

Legacy

When you think of Legacy what instantly comes to mind?
Do you think of the handing down of things such as property, money, jewelry?

A synonym for the word LEGACY is INHERATENCE!

When I think of those two words I think of royalty, a kingship, priesthood handed down to survived sons and daughters. I don't only think of earthly possessions being handed down to the next generation but I think of the character, heart and mindset of a person being gifted to someone. The responsibility of that person being gifted is immense!! Will they choose to carry that LEGACY with care and purpose or will they choose to forfeit it?

What have you been handed down? In my family I have been handed down; FIGHT or a tenacious hope, a strong will, a NOT GONNA QUIT type of spirit, rich family values, a sharp tongue, opinionated mind, hands that can harm and judgment and on the other side I have been handed down; a quieted mind, a soft tone, a love for alcohol, strong hope for a better tomorrow, hope in family and a love that loves no matter what! All that greatness intertwined with dark patches. Which will I choose to carry and which parts will I choose to forfeit? In the end what will I choose to hand down to my family? Will I hand them all my bad habits and negative defaults? Inevitable yes, they will get a degree of that!! YET I will CHOOSE to leave a LEGACY of LOVE and HOPE! I will gift my family with an inheritance of PRAISE, ENCOURAGEMENT, BLESSINGS, MAKING WRONGS RIGHT, FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILIATION! My family WILL BE RICH IN LOVE, PURPOSE AND FAVOR!

So what will you leave as a LAGACY?

Hephzi's Vintage Bowling Bag Purses

When going to Texas in March I was really inspired by my hometown!  I currently live in San Dimas where the Sunkist name originated, first spelled "Sunkissed." San Dimas is named in Spanish after Saint Dismas, the repentant and crucified thief. My city has a western look along with cool wooden sidewalks.  We also have vintage shops and our community is very family oriented.  I LOVE THAT part! There you go, some history for you :0)  I live in a house that was built in 1887, it's 125 years old and is part of the historic portion of my city.  Believe me I love every part of my home along with my big backyard with my lovely 5 chicken hens, vegetable garden and my cute bulldog named Bruno.  I can't help it, my Texas roots are barried deep in me, which is why I always wanted to live in my city.  I feel very blessed :0)  My inspiration manifested these beauties!

Presenting.....Hephzi Creations Bowling Bag Collection, hope you LOVE them. What is so cool about these is that you can use it for your everyday look, for school books, an overnight bag, or shoot even a cool diaper bag!!!

AND to even add to the awesomeness here is video that my lovely Sister/Girl Laurie with New Life Productions put together, I just LOVE IT!

I just love you all and thankful that I get to create for you!!!  Also, do know that I am your personal accessory designer!  Send me your special one offs, shoot all of Hephzi's Creations are one off's!  I love that part and hope all of you beauties do too!
